Day 3 in London

We had a guided tour today of three places. Windsor Castle (left), Stonehenge and Bath.  Windsor was beautiful.  It was hard, because we weren't allowed to take pictures inside any of it unfortunately.  This is in the inner wall. Under the main tower, the garden goes around the dry moat. It was beautiful. It rained on us pretty good here. Jeremy and I were soaked before we were done.
Second stop was Stonehenge. This was incredible. Not only because of all the mystery surrounding the stones, but also because this was ancient when all the other ancient wonders were new.  It was just a great experience to see these up close. Although not as up close as my uncle. He got to see them when you were allowed to go up and touch them. We might get tackled and thrown in the Tower if we tried that today.

The last stop of the day was in Bath.  There is so much to see here, and there was no way we were going to get to a tenth of it in the time that we had. We drove past Jane Austen's house, visited the Roman Bath's and wondered around the gardens.

This is the Roman Bath. There are 3 main bath areas.  It had been in use for over 500 years.
When this had water in it, this was one of the more private baths people would sit in. They would move from the most hottest baths (and smallest) to the coolest (biggest) and eventually end up in a huge public bath. It smells just like any hot spring site and has the same coloration.  It is the only hot spring in England.

This is the famous bridge in Bath. It was beautiful! I hope to be able to blow it up when I get back to the states.  There are gardens down on the left that goes along the river banks.
